“Blue in Green”
バルスクォーツ石英石

緑の石がダイアモンド研磨で光沢を上げると、眩いばかりのクオーツが美しいブルーに。雲母は白い大理石が象嵌されているよう。壁や床、バスタブ、シャワールーム、キッチントップ、自然石の機能美。

高地の水源　ミネラルウォーター“VALSER”（ヴァルサー）と建築家ピーターズントーによる”Theme Vals”SPA（バルステルメスパ）そしてそちらにあるホテル”Therme Vals 7132 Hotel” Kengo Kuma Roomと呼ばれる隈研吾設計によるインテリアはオーク材とともにバルスクォーツが斬新さと素朴なナチュラル感覚がリトリートの場を提供しています。

テルメスパとホテルでは海抜1,200mの山で採石されるバルスクォーツサイト石英石がふんだんに使われています。

コアド＆マテリアルズは日本国内総代理として採石所と協働しバルスクォーツ石の壁や床、バスタブ、シャワールーム、キッチントップなどの提案と設計サポート及び施工を行っています。

“Blue in Green”
Vals Quartzite

Green rough stone turns into dazzling blue after diamond polishing. White mica appears just like an incrustation of marble. It is a beautility of natural stone which you can find in wallsl, floors, bathtubs, shower rooms and kitchen tops.

“7132 Therme” was designed in collaboration of the architect Peter Zumthor and the mineral water company “VALSER”. The adjacent hotel “7132 Hotel” is famous for　“Kengo Kuma room”where you will be embraced by a cocoon of oak, while the center of the room features an elegant glass shower with a floor-level base fashioned from Vals stone.

Both The “7132 Therme” and the “7132 Hotel” are lavished with Vals Quartzite. Especially the “7132 Therme” baths are consisting of raw concrete and 60,000 slabs of Vals Quartzite that are quarried from the mountain 1,200m above sea level.

COAD & Materials Co., Ltd is the representative of Vals Quartzite　quarry　Truffer AG　in Japan. We provide designing support and constructions of walls, floors, bath tubs, shower rooms and kitchen tops made of Vals Quartzite.

バルスクォーツ石はスイス、バルスで採石され、我々の工場で加工します。　工場は最新の設備が整っております。 Truffer AG社は55名の社員を雇用しており、スイス石材業における主要な企業の一つです。

使命

我々はバルスクォーツ石を工業的な大量生産品として捉えておらず、慎重に扱っております。バルスクォーツ石は約5千万年前のアルプス形成によって作り出された特有の天然石です。それ故に我々はバルスクォーツ石を特別な場所、唯一無二のプロジェクトに使用したいのです。

客先

一般的に我々は仲介貿易を介さず、直接販売致します。我々は施主、建築家、そしてプロジェクトプランナーの皆様と直接接触します。我々の客先は、個人のお客様から公共団体まで多面的です。

市場

我々は約55%の製品を輸出しております。過去数年間に約30か国にバルスクォーツ石を輸出致しました。我々の一時市場はイギリス、ドイツ、フランス、ベネルクス諸国、そしてアメリカ合衆国そして日本です。製品の45%はスイス国内のプロジェクトに使用されています。

We quarry Vals Quartzite in the town of Vals, Switzerland and process the natural stone in our factory. The factory is equipped with the newest machines in the stone industry. Truffer AG employs approximately 55 workers and is one of the leading stone business in Switzerland.

Mission

We handle Vals Quartzite in a careful way without seeing our stone as an industrial mass product. Vals Quartzite is a unique natural stone created by the formation of the Alps some 50 million years ago. Thus, we would like to use Vals Quartzite for unique projects, at special locations.

Clientele

Generally, we sell Vals Quartzite directly without intermediate trade. We are in direct contact with the client, architect and planner of a project. Our clientele is multifaceted – from private customers to public committees.

Markets

We export about 55% of our products. Over the past few years, we exported Vals Quartzite to 30 different countries. Our primary markets are England, Germany, France, the Benelux countries, and the United States and Japan. 45% of our production is used for projects in Switzerland.
